Privacy Policy

Effective 19 August 2026

Object (“we”) makes Nine, an app for iOS and iPadOS, and runs the website ahob.app. This policy sets out what the app and the site do and do not do with information.

1. What we do not collect

Nine has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or postal address. We run no server of our own for the app.

2. What is stored on your device

The following is kept on your device only and is never sent to us.

Deleting the app deletes all of it.

3. Advertising

Unless you have purchased ad removal, the app shows banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads through Google AdMob. To select ads and measure them, AdMob may process device information and the advertising identifier (IDFA).

On iOS 14 and later the app asks for permission to track on first launch. If you decline, your identifier is not used for personalised advertising. Ads still appear, but they are less targeted. You can change the choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

For AdMob’s own handling, see the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Leaderboards

The app uses Apple Game Center. When a score is submitted it is recorded on Apple’s servers against your Game Center account. That processing follows Apple’s policies; we keep no separate copy.

5. In-app purchase

Ad removal is a one-time purchase made through the App Store. Apple handles payment. We never receive card or other payment details — only whether the purchase completed.

6. Sharing

Beyond Google and Apple as described in this policy, we share information with no one and appoint no other processors. We sell nothing.

7. Children

Nine is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 14.

8. Your choices

Everything stored on the device goes away when you delete the app. You can reset the advertising identifier or refuse tracking in your device settings. For anything else, write to the address below.

9. Changes

If this policy changes we amend this page and state the new effective date. Material changes are announced before they take effect.

10. The website

ahob.app is a static site about the app. It is hosted on Amazon Web Services, and we use Google Analytics (Firebase) to see visit statistics.

Analytics runs only if you accept it. On a first visit a notice appears at the foot of the page, and nothing starts until you choose Accept. If you do, the following is collected.

Nothing that identifies you personally, such as a name or an email address, is collected, and the statistics are not used for advertising.

Choose Decline and analytics does not run and your language choice is not stored. Only the decision itself stays in your browser, so the notice does not come back. Clearing the site data in your browser clears that too, and you will be asked again on your next visit.

For Google’s own handling, see the Google Privacy Policy.
